I have a property under contract and the homeowner told me recently that the HOA will not allow her to rent out the property. Does this spell trouble for me when I find a buyer? I don’t have a copy yet of the HOA rules and regulations yet. I’m just going on what she has told me.

The HOA doesn’t need to see (and shouldn’t see) the lease agreement, only the trust and the beneficiary agreement.

Here is what I have told the HOAs.

“The Property is in Trust and the Owners are the Beneficiaries and will be living in the property”.
