    Settlor tried to sell this property to another investor 2 days after the deed to the trust was recorded and she took the down payment.

    I see it is very important to record the deed immediately once the trust is formed but who is responsible for recording it?

    Jim,

    The Deed putting the title into a trust is the only document that should need to be recorded. ?

    The rest of the trust documents stay private/un-recorded. ?No one else’s bidness!!!
