    You may also use Real Quest which is a branch of First American Title Company. Cyberhomes.com. and Zillow. I wouldn’t trust Zillow if your in California. When I was living in CA. I used a title company called Investors Title Co. http://www.investorstitle.com/. They gave me a free account and I was able to look up preliminary CMA reports. Give them a call. It isn’t the best service but its free.

    I have been told that there is a new law that homeowners will no longer be facing taxation on debt relief from a foreclosure or short sale? Has this portion of the benefits to risk chart been revised to not include that section of the chart? If so, would you send me a copy to jdt.invest@gmail.com? If not, could you still send me a copy?

    Correct me if I’m wrong fellow Narsonians…

    Since the SB would be making a portion of the mortgage payment he would be able to claim the tax deductions for mortgage interest and property tax directly related to the portion of the payment made, along with the “passive” deductions. So if the SB is making 1/3 of the payment, he is able to claim 1/3 of the deductions for mortgage interest and property tax, and the RB will claim the rest of the deduction for mortgage interest and property tax.

    Monthly Payment: $4500
    SB Contribution: $1500
    RB Contribution: $3000

    SB will be able to deduct his portion contributed to the payment and the RB will be able to deduct his portion contributed to the payment made for mortgage interest and property tax.

    I have sent out 3 NEO’s in the past three weeks. I haven’t heard back from anybody who is willing to go the distance. I will hopefully send one out today after I discuss my offer with the homeowner, hopefully I will get it signed this weekend.
